Remembrance

Remembrance illustrates and chronicles my experience with a severe concussion, caused by a near-death accident. While suffering from a concussion, I felt like I was wandering between the real and surreal, carrying oppressive emotions, such as pain, anxiety, and exhaustion. Not only was I navigating the world in a dream-like state, but the near-death accident also caused self to split into two: one trying to fight against the changes my body was experiencing and the other trying to adapt to the changes and coping with the fact that my past self was succumbing to the shadows.
